Today, ScentsAbility is the longest running micro-enterprise in the state of Florida. Our artisan-crafted candles are made with the finest fragrances, a proprietary soy wax blend, and 100% cotton wicks that are non-GMO, non-toxic, and eco-friendly. Learning adaptive strategies to manufacture, market, and sell these candles has provided adults affected by I/DD with strong pathways to independence. In 2017, ScentsAbility was honored at the annual National Candle Association (NCA) Expo for the products and possibilities that we have produced!

Every week, we receive inquiries from more families of adults with I/DD asking how they can get involved in our program. Unfortunately, we are currently limited by the size of our facility and our equipment. We are actively working to build community partnerships that will allow us to move into a larger space and expand our program.
